Are you interested in the emerging/emergent church? Do you live in Waco, Texas?

Have you been reading authors such as Brian McLaren, Peter Rollins, Diana Butler Bass, and Rob Bell?

Or maybe you’re a blogger and are familiar with tallskinnykiwi.com, jesuscreed.org, or pomomusings.com.

If any of this describes you, then you might be interested in helping to start an Emergent cohort in Waco. Everyone is welcome (you don’t have to be a Truett student).

Emergent cohorts are the localized expression of Emergent Village. Meeting of their own accord, at their own time and place, and discussing what they choose, what binds the cohorts together is a common desire to be in robust and respectful conversation about things that matter.

Information about Emergent Village.

Are you interested?

If so, email me at adam_d_moore(at)baylor(dot)edu. I’ll add you to the email list and we’ll get this cohort up and running. I’m really looking forward to it.

I’m so glad you guys are finding your way here and are excited about this. I am definitely excited about getting this going.

And thanks for the compliments on the blog. I am really happy how it turned out. I think I like it better than my personal blog design (which kind of makes me mad). I hope everyone recognizes that the banner is not just any bridge.

Anyways, we’ll be in touch soon.
