The emerging church is not easily defined. Personally, I see the discussion centering on how the church and Christianity can exist and flourish within today’s world. Obviously this is quite a simplified description.

- Ian Mobsby is a leader within the UK emerging church. The emerging church is certainly not a US-centered movement. Rather, the emerging church is a discussion taking place within, across, and between many different cultures and countries. The UK is a particularly significant contributor to the discussion.
